Terms and Conditions
To help you get the most out of your visit to The Bath House –
Banya London and to
understand our responsibilities to you and your responsibilities to us, please read
these terms and conditions. Your safety and enjoyment are our priorities at all times.
The Bath House consists of a Public Banya and a Private Banya. The Public Banya is a
shared space for small groups and individuals. The Private Banya is available for hire
by the hour for groups of up to 10 people. In both the Public Banya and the Private
Banya we offer a range of services including banya, treatments and food and drink.

Opening hours and prices
The Bath House is open between 10 am and 11 pm every day except on Sundays when we close at 10 pm.
Prices cited on the website and elsewhere are inclusive of VAT.

Reservations policy
We will do our best to accommodate walk-in customers but we recommend that you book your visit to The Bath House in advance. You can call us during opening hours to discuss your requirements and to make a booking.
Full pre-payment is required at the time of booking at which point you will be allocated a time. The prepayment must be paid a minimum of 48 hours in advance prior to your visit to secure the booking.
The discount embedded within the standard, classic and premium packages is only available to those customers who have prepaid in advance. The full cost of the session and treatments will be charged if you have not prepaid.
If you are booking on behalf of other people, we will need to collect pre-payment for all those attending in order to secure the booking.
Please arrive for your visit shortly before your allotted time. If you arrive early, you may need to wait before you can begin your session.
In the course of your visit, you may incur additional charges for accessories, treatments and food and drink. These will be paid for at reception when you leave.

Public Banya
To visit the Public Banya at The Bath House you must buy basic entry or a package which combines entry and treatments. A list of packages, what each one entitles you to and prices for those packages are available at https://www.banyalondon.co.uk/packages
Simple entry (“Na Razvedku”) entitles you to a 2-hour visit. This will be extended to 3 hours if you purchase one or more treatments.
All other packages entitle you to a 3-hour visit.
Subject to availability you may stay longer than your allotted time, but we reserve the right to charge an additional £37.50 per hour for each additional hour that you stay beyond your allotted time. A full hour may be charged after the first 15 minutes.

Private Banya
To visit the Private Banya at The Bath House you must make a booking and pay for the hire of the space in advance. The facilities and price of the Private Banya are available here https://www.banyalondon.co.uk/private-banya
Subject to availability you may stay longer than your allotted time, but we reserve the right to charge an additional £350 per hour for each additional hour that you stay beyond your allotted time. A full hour may be charged after the first 15 minutes.

Rescheduling / Cancellation of Bookings
If you have made a booking and need to reschedule, we will always endeavour to accommodate you and will be happy to move your booking once free of charge. You should call us as soon as you know you will not be able to come. To reschedule at short notice may not always be possible. We require 48 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel a booking. A session fee (currently £65 per person) in the Public Banya and two hours room hire (currently £700) in the Private Banya may be charged for any bookings rescheduled or cancelled less than 48 hours in advance. The balance of any prepayment after deducting this amount will remain on your account for future use.
Any refunds will be subject to a 10% administration fee.
A full fee equivalent to 100% of your prepayment will be imposed for failure to notify us of the need to reschedule or cancel, otherwise known as a “no-show”.
In the event of a group booking where certain members of the group do not arrive, any amounts paid but not used (as a result of those that have not arrived) will be credited against any additional treatments or food and drink that you purchase.
The Bath House reserves the right to alter, offer you alternatives or cancel your treatments and offer you a full or partial refund, as appropriate.

Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months and are not eligible for a refund.

Children
Children under the age of 16 are welcome in The Bath House under the following conditions.
In the Private Banya children under the age of 16 are permitted but must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
In the Public Banya only children aged 10 years and older are permitted. They must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
Children are only permitted into The Bath House on completion of the necessary waiver by their parent / guardian.
You must not bring your children into the banya if they have an infectious illness or condition.

General Health and Safety
You should not use The Bath House if you have an infectious illness or condition.
You should consult a doctor prior to visiting if you have any concerns about whether use of the banya is suitable for you.
To protect the safety of all members and guests, you must pay particular attention to all signs relating to health and safety in The Bath House. If you do not understand a notice or sign please ask a member of staff.
Fire exits are clearly marked throughout the banya. If there is a fire or if you hear the fire alarm, you should make your way out of the banya through the nearest possible exit to the advertised assembly point.
If you suffer an accident or injury on our premises, you must report it and the circumstances under which it happened to a member of staff immediately.
While you are at The Bath House, we expect you to behave appropriately, respectfully and politely at all times. We may prevent you from entering the banya or ask you to leave if we think that your behaviour is inappropriate.

Personal Possessions and Lockers
You bring all personal belongings to the banya at your own risk. We do not accept legal responsibility for any loss or damage to these items.
If you leave your belongings in a locker overnight, we retain the right to remove your belongings. You can claim the belongings we have removed from reception for up to two weeks after we remove them. After this time, we will not be responsible for the belongings.
If you find lost property, please hand it into The Bath House reception immediately. We will hold items for three weeks before giving them to charity.

Plunge Pool and Banya
Please ensure that you and your children shower and use the toilet before entering the banya or plunge pools.
You must at all times follow the plunge pool and banya rules and guidelines displayed in The Bath House and any instructions a banya attendant gives you.
No crockery or glassware may be taken inside the banya.

Photographs and Videos
You may take photographs and video recordings in The Bath House for your own personal use provided that:
You do not take photographs or videos of any children under 18 other than your own.
Anyone who appears in your photographs or videos is made aware that you are filming them and have given their permission in advance.
You do not take photographs or video recordings in the changing rooms or toilets.
If another member is unhappy that you are filming them and makes a complaint to us, we may ask you to show us any images which you have taken in the banya and to delete them if appropriate.
If a member of our team asks you to stop filming or taking photographs, you must do so.

Data Protection
We operate in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
We will handle all information we hold about you in line with our privacy policy which is available on our website at www.banyalondon.co.uk.

Complaints
We are committed to ensuring our customers are satisfied with the service we provide, but we are realistic enough to know that things don’t go according to plan all the time. If you or your guests have a complaint, we want to know about it as soon as possible so that we can investigate and resolve the matter.
If you have a complaint, you should first tell a member of staff at The Bath House. If you are not satisfied with their response, you should contact the manager on duty.

Liability
We do not accept liability for damage or loss to your property or a guest’s property that may happen on the premises or within the grounds of The Bath House, other than the liability which arises from our negligence or our failure to take reasonable care.
We do not accept liability for the injury or death of any member, child or guest that may happen on the premises or within the grounds of The Bath House, other than the liability which arises from our negligence or our failure to take reasonable care.
Nothing in these terms and conditions is meant to limit any rights you might have as a consumer.

Other
The Bath House is a no-smoking facility and there are no smoking areas anywhere on the site.
We reserve the right to charge customers for any damage caused as a result of their actions while at The Bath House.
You are not permitted to bring your own food and drink for consumption while on the premises.
A discretionary service charge will be applied to your food and drink bill. This is distributed amongst the staff at The Bath House.
We expect you to treat our staff politely and with respect. In the event of behaviour which we deem rude or abusive, we reserve the right to refuse you entry or to ask you to leave.
- How to use The Bath House safely
The temperature in the steam room is around 70 degrees with humidity of around 30%. This is hotter than a Turkish baths but cooler than in a typical sauna. If you are in any doubt about your tolerance of high temperatures, you should consult a doctor. Children, the elderly, diabetics, pregnant and breast-feeding women should seek medical advice before visiting.
- Remove jewellery and watches
- Drink plenty of water and don’t stay in the steam room for too long
- Please refrain from consuming alcohol before steam room sessions and/or any treatments including Parenie ritual. The Bath House Management has a right to cancel your session at any time in case of increased health and safety risk
- Take care when moving around as the floor may be wet
- Do not touch the stoves at any time
- Do not leave towels or sheets in the steam rooms
- Seek assistance from a member of staff if you begin to feel unwell
- Please note, we have male therapists performing Parenie ritual on Ladies' days
- You should not visit The Bath House if you
- Have a serious illness or a heart condition, low blood pressure, a respiratory condition or any other medical condition which may adversely affect your reaction to heat
- Are taking or have been prescribed medication for any of the conditions above or may make the use of the banya inadvisable
- Have a contagious disease, infectious skin condition, open sores or wounds
- Have an illness resulting in an inability to perspire
- Are concerned that you might experience an adverse reaction to any of the ingredients used in our treatments
- Have had a heavy meal prior to entering the banya
- Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Have recently exercised and have not allowed time for your body temperature to return to normal
- In case of any medical issues, please let our Reception Team know before treatment. You are also advised to consult a doctor before signing up for any treatment or services
